Tuition

Tuition for the Adult Degree Completion program is $1,030 per unit. If a student enrolls in between 12-18 units in a semester, then tuition converts to a flat fee of $24,720. If a student exceeds 18 units in a semester, an additional $1,030 per unit over 18 units will be assessed.

Mandatory Campus Fees

All Adult Degree Completion undergraduate students are assessed the following fees for each semester attended:

  • $215 non-refundable Campus Comprehensive Fee
  • $65 Technology Fee
  • $187.50 ASDU Activities Fee (each fall/spring semester attended)
  • $250 Flex Meal
     

Financial Aid: Scholarships, Grants, Loans and Work-Study

Scholarships and grants are types of aid that do not have to be repaid and that can help to directly reduce your tuition expenses. Eligibility is usually based on academic merit, financial need and/or talent in specific areas.

Adult Degree students and their families have access to federal loans to help meet their cost of attending Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.

How to Apply

In order to become eligible, submit a FAFSA and federal loans will be included in your financial aid award.

Work-Study is an optional form of self-help aid that allows students to apply for on-campus employment (or off-campus work with one of our community service partners) to earn extra money toward their college expenses. 

How to Apply

To be considered for Federal Work-Study, submit a FAFSA and contact the Office of Financial Aid. To learn about other opportunities, visit our Work-Study page.

Billing and Payment

A payment plan is available to all students. Once you are registered, visit Student Billing to learn how to establish a payment plan.

  • The balance on your student account is due by the published due date, regardless of the status of your financial aid. If a balance is paid and then financial aid is applied, any credit balance will be refunded to the student.
  • Anticipated Financial Aid will show on your billing statement once all required items are received and processed by the Office of Financial Aid.
  • If your financial aid is not finalized before the dates below, it may not show on your first student account statement for the term.
